Waveland, Nov 7 -- Influenza claimed its second victim from this city Tuesday when Otha C. Faller, 30 years old died at his home here at 2 o'clock from pneumonia. The death terminated an illness of 10 days originating with influenza. His wife and daughter, Bernice, 7 years old, are also very low, suffering from influenza. The epidemic is worse here than it has been for some time. 45 persons of this place are suffering from the disease while four are at the point of death. Mr. Faller was born near Roachdale September 1881, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Faller. He was married to Miss Verna Gauge (sic - Gough) of Roachdale February 2, 1908. He moved here 8 years ago and since that time has been employed as a brakeman with the Central Indiana Railroad company. He had been a faith employee of this company and his employers stated that they regretted his loss to the company. He was liked by all who worked with him or knew him and known as a man with good character. He is survived by his parents who now lived at Centeron, Indiana, his wife, one daughter Bernice and a son, Otha, Jr. two months old.

Roachdale -- Otha Faller, who died at Waveland of pneumonia, was brought here Friday for burial. Services were held at the grave, conducted by Rev. A.S. Mayhall.
